Beach with a friendly atmosphere in the summer when the tide is low; often, small ‘lagoons’ form in the river mouth to the delight of the younger holidaymakers. This beach is known for the escarpment surrounding it, which is often designated as Castle's Cliff or Lion's Cliff. It is located in Alcobaça.
