Carvoeiro
Surrounded by an immense forested area, the Carvoeiro fluvial beach is one of the most cared for in this region. The wall that contains the stream flow resulted in two huge swimming pools – one of which is for children. The beach is illuminated at night making it a pleasant place to ‘run away’ from the heat of Ribatejo’s nights. This beach is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is the only beach in the area with a blue flag.
